About the Author
The botanist and wildlife writer David Bellamy is well known to television viewers and wildlife fans as an active and enthusiastic campaigner on conservation issues. He is the director of the Conservation Foundation, trutee of the World Wildlife Fund, vice-president of the Fauna and Flora Preservation Society and councillor of the Wildfowl Trust.
